EXPERIENCE

Vanesa has a vast amount of experience in television in a large variety of different programs for prominent networks such as: Televisa, TV Azteca, Canal Once, Endemol, Univision and Sony. She was a member of the creative team for the smash hit show “Big Brother Mexico” which was classified by critics as the television event that changed the way television was viewed in Mexico. In its first episode it broke audience rating records with its final episode clocking in at more than 6.5 million viewers nationwide.

She has been a part of the writing and development teams for some of the most famous telenovelas in recent history, such as: “Teresa”, which aired in more than thirty countries and four different continents, “La Que No Podia Amar” which broke ratings records in the United States for being the most watched show in the country at the 10pm time slot, “Corona de Lagrimas” which was loved by audiences in more than 25 countries and “Pasion y Poder” which held the number one prime time slot in both Mexico and the United States. She also wrote on the telenovela “Vino El Amor”, the first bilingual show on network television in both Mexico and the United States, which broke rating records in both countries on Televisa and Univision.

She also was part of the creative content team for the popular reality show “Mexico’s Next Top Model” for Sony. She participated in the creative development of one of the most popular series in Mexico “Paramedicos”, which is currently airing on Netflix.

Vanesa was one of the first writers in the new Televisa genre “the super drama” with the show “Por Amar Sin Ley” which had the highest rating in prime time both in Mexico and the United States in 2018, beating out American networks like: CBS, NBC and ABC.
